We never had a placement with Adoption Center of Choice. but I've done some extensive talking via Adopt America Network (Ohio) with Dave who works with ACOC.
I can tell you their fees are INCREDIBLY high. INCREDIBLY! I have been told because their agency is 'for-profit', this is why their fees are so high.

If your budget can stand this, I have no complaint with them at all.

I still get emails of situations from them to pass on. If your budget works within their fee ranges, let me know and I'll be glad to pass them on to you (Through pm's) when I get the next email.

Sincerely,

Linny

Linny,

Because we are a little older and my husband feels most comfortable with Caucasian placement, we may have to consider paying a little more....but how much is the question??? You can pm me with situations that may come about; however, I just remembered in NJ we need to work with a non- profit.

Thanks again!!

Your Adoption Connection: Matched family
We are in Utah and stayed away from ACOC for financial and other reasons. If you are interested in Utah agencies, I have a couple of recommendations I can PM you.

Gati,

Yes! Please pm recommendations for Utah agencies. We are from NJ so they have to be non-profile.

Thanks!

I adopted in UT...we used A Guardian Angel. I would also use Heart to Heart. I would never (personally) use Adoption Center of Choice. They (IMO) are very unethical. I know 2 people who have adopted from there (really know them) and they agree their situations were not handled ethically. It's sad for everyone involved. The fees are outrageous too!
