Your Adoption Connection: Matched with three children
Hello! My husband and I are about to meet our possible future children!!!!!! We have been chosen to adopt them, and know as much about them as we can without actually having met them. I have quit my job, and will be a stay at home mom of these three little kiddos, all of whom we are hoping to adopt. They are full siblings ages 1,2, and almost 3. My husband works 65hrs a week. We have two dogs: a 7yr old Boxer and a 4yr old border collie. We have fostered difficult dogs for the last 5 years, and now are ready to have fur-less children :green

Hey Amanda!

Welcome to FP! Looks as though you're going to have your hands full.....but wonderfully so. It's so nice to read when people are able to adopt VERY young children, because too often kids in the foster system are held there so, so long. I'm glad to hear these kids have a very good chance!

That said, please don't be offended when I say your experiences with dealing with tough dogs, will probably help you a great deal when dealing with children from the foster care system. Joking aside, there are a ton of similarities to animals who've been hurt and children who've been hurt.

When will you know for certain that you'll be able to adopt them? Are they already legally free, or are they 'legal risk placements'?

Looking forward to reading more about you and your experiences!
