Your Adoption Connection: Just starting the journey!
My name is Sarah. My husband and I have just begun the adoption journey. We currently live in the NW suburbs of Chicago with our 7 year old biological son.

We do have a meeting set up with Adoption Center for Family Building next week - so far they seem very caring, helpful and knowledgable. If anyone has any experience in working with this agency any feedback would be appreciated. Also, if you have any experience in working with any other agencies that you really like(d) please let us know.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone here!

Sarah

Hey Sarah!
Glad to meet you! Fellow Illinoisan here too.........what type of situation are you hoping for? Are you wanting to adopt a newborn, older child, any special needs, healthy white baby, multi-ethnic???

We've adopted many times and would be glad to give any advice of any agencies/attorneys I've known. Have you checked out Sunnyridge? All I can remember of the agency you mentioned is that their fees were pretty high. Don't know what your adoption budget is, but that might be a factor.

Hope to read more about your journey....

Sincerely,

Linny
